finish carpentry

Much of our finish carpentry work involves railings and moldings. Here are two staircases and a colonial front door with elaborate pilasters and pediment details.

The client had just constructed a new home. The great room included a very large wall with a fireplace. The designer had put together some great design elements to maximize the size of the wall area.

The design, built of Cherry, included two inset bookcases, a fireplace mantle with spindles, and three arches with a perfect circular radius. The largest, central arch is 40" high by 80" wide. The 2 smaller arches mirror the dimension of the larger. In addition, wainscoting was fabricated to finish off the wall section beautifully. The pictures show the installation before staining and varnishing and the completed central section.

Do you have a plain old fireplace, that looks like it came right out of a box? Sauber & Sons can work their finish carpentry magic for you too.
