The Process Benchmarking website was created back in the "old days" and it still looks great today. Using the web-safe color palette of 216 colors and designed to fit in the then-ubiquitous monitor size of 640 x 480 pixels, it was a super-fast loading, beautifully hip and fun, functional site that worked perfectly on everyone's computer. The Construct team won a prestigious Summit award for it too! Go see.
