Every two years the Junior League of Detroit organizes and hosts a Designers' Show House. Instead of the lackluster books that were produced in the past (and thrown in the trash directly after the show in ever increasing numbers), we lobbied for a book designed to become a keepsake, with beautiful photography and quality production.

The strategy worked. Not a single book was prematurely recycled and we were able to create another successful book for the next show house. Subsequent efforts by others have stayed remarkably close to the original concept, a testament to knowing and appreciating your market.
