On January 10 - 11, 2001, Jacques Nasser and 350 of Ford Motor Company's top executives met to discuss the state of the company and the strategy for 2001.
While 2000 was a good year for Ford, it should have been a great year in light of record setting industry sales and missteps on the part of our competitors. 2001 is Ford's year of opportunity.
To make it a great year we need to flawlessly execute our business strategy and improve our business structure.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding material and resources related to that meeting and the company's goals on this site. Check back again for more information as it becomes available. |
"Beyond the softening industry outlook, investors are concerned about Ford's product launches, recalls and product quality...
If Ford executes well, there is a real opportunity to separate itself from the rest of the group."
Steve Girsky, Morgan Stanley analyst
